Registrar Liaison Officer (RLO)

Registrar representation occurs at the management level of AOGP. An active Registrar within the Adelaide to Outback Training Program is appointed as a Registrar Liaison Officer. Their role is to provide information to, and facilitate communication between, GP Registrars and the regional training provider. The RLO advocates on behalf of GP Registrars on issues such as education, the achievement of learning objectives, work conditions, hospital and practice placements, and conflicts if and when they arise.

Our RLO position is rotated on an eighteen-month basis. The RLO is an important contact available to all Registrars throughout their training.

The RLO position is split into a rural and an urban role. Currently filling these roles are Dr Don Cameron (urban) Dr Lexie Yuill (rural).
