PGPPP LogoWhat is it?

The PGPPP is an Australian federal government initiative, providing junior doctors with the opportunity to experience the work of General Practice, in outer metropolitan, regional, rural and remote areas. The program offers high quality training in a wide range of clinical situations. A key aim of it is to provide junior doctors with an experience that may encourage them to choose General Practice as a career. Rural posts in the PGPPP program are managed nationally by ACRRM, while urban posts are managed nationally by RACGP.

Adelaide to Outback has been involved with the PGPPP since January 2005. We offer junior doctors the opportunity to work in a ten- to thirteen-week General Practice placement, under the supervision of GPs at the Practice.
